  1. Thank you for posting this. To be honest I am in two minds about it.

    Part of me wants to applaud the solidarity.

    Another part of me thinks, “Oh no, some rap act cynically getting commercial capital out of the Egyptian Revolution.”

    I was struck by the images. In the UK we have had a lot of coverage, but the overall impression was one of relatively little violence, and that violence that did occur being successfully countered by the protesters. The video footage here has picked some of the more violent encounters – maybe redressing the balance, maybe because it suits the politics of the song.

    I was very impressed by the muslim men continuing to pray as the water cannon hit them.
